Group founder Dato’ Keith li paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi

Following the fruitful results of Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar’s earlier visit to China, the government was urged to establish the Malaysia-China Media Industry Alliance, which will not only promote the information on tourism and news between the two countries, but also promote the interaction and exchange of media personnel.

Dato' Li Zhongping, founder of GTC Group and president of  China Entrepreneurs Association In Malaysia (PUCM), said that Malaysia and Indonesia, which have friendly relations, have established the Malaysian-Indian Journalist Friendship Association (ISWAMI), and Malaysia and China should follow suit and establish a media industry alliance.

Li Zhongping is also the founder of the trilingual news of "Malaysia-China Perspective". He accepted an interview with Bernama and revealed that he conveyed the above message to the Minister of Communications and Digital  Fahmi when he called on the latter earlier.

In addition to establishing the above-mentioned media industry alliance, he also suggested that the minister promote the cooperation between the official media of Malaysia and China, such as China Central Radio and Television (CMG) and Radio Malaysia Television (RTM), Bernama and Xinhua News Agency.

He described this move as necessary, because strengthening media cooperation and interaction will help convey more positive and important messages for the cooperation between the governments and non-governmental organizations of the two countries.

Dato' Keith li  also suggested to the minister to further promote and promote the cooperation and exchanges between the media of Malaysia and China by signing a memorandum of cooperation. Minister Fami expressed his approval and support, and instructed officials to follow up and implement it.

Li  mentioned that this visit also introduced the trilingual news of "Malaysia-China Insight", "Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs" Chinese-English magazine, and the establishment, background and operation of the KenaliTV Malay-English video channel. A special newspaper published in conjunction with the Prime Minister's visit to China.
