KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 – Datuk Amiruddin Abdul Satar’s tenure as Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) director-general concluded Monday after leading the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) for four years.
In a statement, FELDA expressed its deep appreciation to Amiruddin for his outstanding leadership and service during his time at the helm.
“Throughout his tenure, Amiruddin guided FELDA through numerous challenges with dedication and a clear vision, especially during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period.
“Several key initiatives were implemented, including the execution of the White Paper: Towards FELDA’s Sustainability, which laid out the framework for a new FELDA model,” the statement said.
According to FELDA, this model not only strengthened the organisation’s foundations but also directly benefited settlers and improved the well-being of the FELDA community.
It said Amiruddin had successfully restored FELDA’s financial standing through reform efforts and efficient management.
“His firm approach to cost control and improving operational results has placed FELDA back on stable footing,” it said, adding that Amiruddin had emphasised building a holistic ecosystem, improving operational efficiency, and resource management to ensure FELDA’s long-term sustainable and resilient growth.
“The foundation he has laid will guide FELDA’s future success,” it added.
