PETALING JAYA, Dec 12 — The health ministry has reported 1,937 Covid-19 cases and nine deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 911 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 68,084.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the 1,937 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 82,246.
Meanwhile, the nine deaths bring the toll to 411.
A total of 13,751 people are still being treated, with 121 of them in the intensive care unit and 66 requiring respiratory assistance.
