PETALING JAYA，Dec 10: The health ministry has recorded 2,234 Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,112 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 66,236.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the 2,234 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 78,499.
Meanwhile, the three deaths bring the toll to 396.
