PUTRAJAYA，Oct 22: The health ministry has reported 847 Covid-19 cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 486 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 15,417.
In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 847 new cases bring the total number of cases in the country to 23,804.
With the five new deaths, the toll is now 204.
