SINGAPORE, April 28 — Singapore which on Monday confirmed 799 new cases of COVID-19 infections, reported another two deaths, thus bringing the total to 14.
In a statement issued late Monday, the republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said the two male patients labelled as case 1595 and 9682 died on April 27.
Case 1595, aged 82, was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on April 8, while Case 9682, aged 81, on April 20.
Both elderly were Singaporeans, said the ministry.
As at 12 noon Monday, 1,095 have fully recovered here from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, while 20 are in critical condition in the intensive care units.
